Your journey to Nepal commences with an unforgettable arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport. As you disembark from your flight, the anticipation of new experiences fills the air. Amid the bustling terminal, you'll spot the familiar faces of our dedicated staff, Bishal and Ishwor, extending a heartfelt Nepali 'Namaste' and a warm smile. Their welcoming presence instantly sets the tone for the adventure ahead.

Following your airport welcome, you'll be whisked away to your homestay located in the vibrant Pepsicola area of Kathmandu. Here, your host family eagerly awaits your arrival, ready to envelop you in the embrace of Nepali culture and hospitality. After settling into your accommodations and taking a moment to refresh, you'll embark on a delightful culinary journey. Lunch at a nearby restaurant introduces your taste buds to the flavors of Nepal, with tantalizing dishes like momo and chowmein.

With your energy replenished, the day unfolds with a guided tour around the Pepsicola neighborhood. Accompanied by your tour guide, you'll meander through lively markets, bustling streets, and charming alleyways. Along the way, you'll gain invaluable insights into local customs and traditions, deepening your connection to the rich tapestry of Nepali life. As the sun begins to set on your first day in Nepal, you'll return to your homestay, filled with anticipation for the incredible adventures and cultural discoveries that await you in the days ahead.

After a leisurely start and breakfast, so you can recover properly from your journey, you will start your Nepali language course at the Volunteer Society Nepal office. After meeting the entire Real Journey team you will have lessons from around 10.30 to 12.30 with our highly experienced language teachers. This will also give you a chance to meet any other volunteers joining at the same time. In the afternoon, one of our staff will take you round the local area of Pepsi-Cola where the office and homestays are for the induction period. You will also be told where to keep your valuables and general information about life in Nepal. In the end of afternoon, you will be driven with our guide to see some of Kathmandu’s famous UNESCO world heritage sites. One of our guide, Ishwor, has over 10 years experience taking foreigners round the ancient city and can answer any questions you have on ancient and contemporary Nepal. During your introduction, you can visit the famous Buddhist Boudanath and the Hindu temple complex of Pashupatinath.

On the morning of your third day in Nepal, you'll embark on a cultural and educational journey. From 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, you'll participate in a Nepali language class, gaining insights into the local tongue and fostering deeper connections with the community. Following this enriching experience, the afternoon is dedicated to the Career Building International Academy(CBIA) School, where a warm welcome program awaits. Here, you'll be embraced by the school's spirited atmosphere, engaging with enthusiastic students and immersing yourself in traditional Nepali performances. As the day unfolds, you'll venture to the iconic Swayambhunath Temple, affectionately known as the Monkey Temple. This UNESCO World Heritage Site perches atop a hill, offering awe-inspiring views of Kathmandu Valley. Amidst curious monkeys and the tranquil ambiance, you'll explore this sacred Buddhist stupa, absorbing its spiritual significance and taking in the vibrant cultural tapestry of Nepal.

Your fourth day in Nepal promises to be a blend of language learning and creative engagement with the students at CBIA School:

Morning Nepali Language Class (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM):
- As the morning sun graces the Nepali landscape, you'll begin your day with another engaging Nepali language class, further enhancing your ability to communicate and connect with the local community.

Interactive Workshop at CBIA School (Afternoon):
- In the afternoon, you'll return to the welcoming environment of CBIA School for an interactive workshop with the students.
- The workshop is an opportunity for you to share your knowledge, skills, and creativity with the students. Whether you choose to teach a subject close to your heart, lead a dance session, or inspire them through art and craft, the possibilities are endless.
- Collaborate with the students, exchange cultural insights, and create memorable experiences that foster cross-cultural understanding and friendship.

Day Four is all about giving back and sharing your talents and knowledge with the enthusiastic students at CBIA School. It's a day of meaningful interaction, learning, and cultural exchange that will leave a lasting impact on both you and the young minds you engage with.

Today marks the beginning of a new chapter in your Nepal adventure as you head to the picturesque region of Chitwan:

Travel to Chitwan:
- After an early morning departure from your current location, you'll embark on a scenic journey to Chitwan, a region renowned for its rich biodiversity and lush landscapes.
- As you travel, take in the changing scenery, from the mountains and valleys to the subtropical forests that characterize this part of Nepal.

Arrival in Chitwan (Afternoon):
- Upon your arrival in Chitwan in the afternoon, you'll check into your accommodation.
- Take some time to rest, freshen up, and recharge after your journey.

Local Village Walk:
- In the late afternoon, you'll have the opportunity to explore the nearby local village.
- Accompanied by experienced guides, you'll meander through the village's charming streets, interacting with the friendly locals and gaining insight into their daily lives and traditions.
- This village walk provides a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in the rural culture of Chitwan and witness the beauty of Nepali countryside living.

Day Five offers a delightful change of scenery as you leave behind the urban bustle for the tranquility of Chitwan. Here, you'll have the chance to connect with the local community, discover the village's unique charm, and embrace the serene beauty of Nepal's rural life.

Day Six in Chitwan promises thrilling adventures in the heart of nature:

Morning Canoeing:
- Rise with the sun and start your day with a serene canoeing experience along the Rapti River.
- Drift through tranquil waters while taking in the breathtaking views of the surrounding jungle and the possibility of spotting wildlife along the riverbanks.

Jungle Safari in Jeep:
- After a hearty breakfast, gear up for an exhilarating jungle safari in a Jeep.
- Accompanied by experienced guides, you'll venture deep into the heart of Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its incredible biodiversity.
- Keep your eyes peeled for glimpses of elephants, rhinoceroses, tigers, and a wide array of bird species in their natural habitat.

Jungle Walk:
- As the day continues, you'll embark on a guided jungle walk, providing an up-close and personal encounter with the forest's flora and fauna.

On the seventh day of your Nepal journey, you'll bid farewell to Chitwan and make your way back to the vibrant city of Kathmandu:

Morning Check-Out:
- After enjoying a final breakfast in the serene surroundings of Chitwan, you'll check out from your accommodation.

Scenic Drive to Kathmandu:
- Embark on a scenic drive that retraces your path from Chitwan back to the capital city, Kathmandu.
- Along the way, savor the changing landscapes, from the lush forests of Chitwan to the winding mountain roads as you approach Kathmandu.

Return to Kathmandu:
- Upon reaching Kathmandu, you'll check in to your host family accommodation, allowing you to settle back into the bustling atmosphere of the city.
- The remainder of the day is free for you to explore at your leisure.

Your eighth day in Nepal combines environmental awareness with cultural interaction:

Trash Tag Challenge with CBIA School Students:
- The morning begins with a meaningful initiative as you join forces with the enthusiastic students of CBIA School to participate in the Trash Tag Challenge.
- Equipped with bags and gloves, you'll engage in a community clean-up effort, collecting litter and waste in the local area.
- This hands-on activity not only promotes environmental consciousness but also fosters a sense of responsibility and camaraderie among participants.

Continuation of Workshop:
- In the afternoon, you'll return to the workshop you started earlier in the week at CBIA School.
- Building on the skills and knowledge you've shared, you'll have the opportunity to continue teaching, engaging in artistic endeavors, or leading dance sessions with the students.
- The workshop provides a platform for cultural exchange, creativity, and continued learning, strengthening the bonds between you and the local community.

Day Eight offers a blend of community service and cultural exchange, reinforcing the importance of environmental stewardship through the Trash Tag Challenge while nurturing educational and artistic connections with the students at CBIA School. Day Nine promises breathtaking views and a memorable hike to one of Nepal's most picturesque destinations:

Morning Start:
- After enjoying a delicious breakfast with your host family, you'll set out for an adventure-filled day.
- Be sure to pack essentials like comfortable hiking shoes, water, and sunscreen for your hike.

Hike to Nagarkot:
- Your journey begins with a scenic hike to Nagarkot, a charming hill station known for its panoramic vistas of the Himalayas.
- As you ascend through lush forests and along winding trails, the cool mountain air and the anticipation of the views ahead will invigorate you.

Spectacular Himalayan Views:

- Begin your day with an early rise to catch the mesmerizing sunrise from Nagarkot.
- The breathtaking views of the Himalayas bathed in the golden hues of dawn are an unforgettable sight and a perfect start to the day.

Breakfast in Nagarkot:
- After soaking in the sunrise, enjoy a hearty breakfast amidst the tranquil surroundings of Nagarkot.

Return Hike to Bhaktapur:

Local Bus Journey Back to Your Homestay:
