Alberte Tollestrup Pedersen and Freia Marie Lissia Jensen from Denmark have already begun their 4-week journey at the Women’s Literacy Center.
On their very first day, they worked closely with the Nepali teacher—planning lessons, aligning activities, and understanding the learning needs of the women at the center. They also handed over essential teaching materials to support the sessions ahead.

We know many of you have been asking about the current world situation. While the world political landscape is evolving, we want to reassure our global community that our projects remain active, our local teams are providing full support, and our volunteers are arriving safely to begin their meaningful work.
Alberte and Freia are already jumping in with open hearts, ready to share skills and learn from the incredible women at our center. Their presence is a reminder that the spirit of international solidarity and empowerment remains stronger than ever!
