Social Journey Nepal

A Sister Company of Volunteer Society Nepal (VSN)

Social Journey Nepal, a sister company of Volunteer Society Nepal, was established  as a Nepal-based company run by Nepali individuals. The primary goal  of Social Journey Nepal is to offer its guests unforgettable and meaningful experiences in the stunning Himalayan country.

Social Journey Nepal (P) Ltd is a prominent and professional tourism enterprise managed by local Nepali citizens. Established in 2006 under ‘The Company Act 2053’ and ‘Tourism Act 2035’, the company is licensed by the Tax Department of Nepal and the Central Bank of Nepal to engage in services with both domestic and international clients, including members of National and International Tourism Umbrella Organizations. As a government-recognized tourism professional company, Social Journey Nepal specializes in a variety of adventurous activities such as hiking, trekking, peak climbing, mountaineering expeditions, sightseeing tours, jungle safaris, paragliding, bungee jumping, rafting, and numerous other adventure activities in Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan. With a commitment to delivering quality and adventurous experiences, the company has garnered the loyalty of over 3,000 satisfied and adventure-seeking clients to date. Social Journey Nepal (P) Ltd not only organizes trips but also plays an active role in fundraising for the development of impoverished and rural areas of Nepal.

As Social Journey Nepal is  a charitable tour and travel company, it uses a huge percentage of our profits to fund various charitable projects. Over the past few years it has been providing food, clothing, and educational sponsorship to more than 50 orphan children. Through its women’s development project, 30 women in Kathmandu are currently receiving day to day literacy and language classes along with skill training. Social Journey Nepal is proud to have opened a disabled centre with a capacity of 25 children that provides services such as special education, physiotherapy and speech therapy. Along with its own health centers,  it has affiliation with several hospitals throughout Nepal.

To enable our tour and trekking guests to see and experience the real Nepal, and get closer with Nepali people, we strongly encourage them to spend time at our projects with some of the local people that their money is helping.
